50 Love Poems Before Sunset

into the street of the sky
light walks scattering poems

how beautifully swims
the fooling world
(heart,could we bear
the marvel of this thing?)

let’s live suddenly without thinking:

when souls which have forgot frivolity
cannot touch because they are too near

when(being fool to fancy)i have deemed
something which is worth the whole.

just at the edge of day)i surely
make a millionth poem
great writhing words as,uttering overmuch,
I will take the sun in my mouth
newfragile yellowsgold
it does not greatly matter to the sun,
because she is beautiful
god gloats upon Her stunning flesh.

inthe,exquisite;
morning
sure    lyHer eye s
big love-crumbs,
face is as a dream
locked
in white fragrance      rendering death
                         and forever
            with each
   breathing
     soul
     upon
    my lips—

—your kiss, the little
pushings of
          flesh,
jolts of lovecrazed abrupt
          flesh
      the flesh
crisp
set my love-tooth on
                   edge.
ecstasies
             slowly,
in the       glutted
             heart,

drew      lewdly
the      murmurous   minute
clumsy
Around     the reckless
                magic    of
your
mouth
making the obscene shy,

steer
our
lost
bodies
carefully
downward.

gaily go
clean    th
          rough me

              tickling          aches,
grips   in     chuckles     of supreme sex.
delightful      with           indefinable
             flowering,
whose        strangeness         much
says;           singing        painting
wholly          feels           ashamed
before        this music,     and poetry

be nothing,
it shall not stop

kissing).

cruelly, across the grass
Comes the moon
little more like curving colour
(say
orange)
notice the convulsed orange inch of moon
knocked by sun moon jabbed jerked with ecstasy
the moon is hiding in her hair.
Mind looked long at the sticky moon

How i was crazy how i cried
when i heard
the shocked impossible:
of bells comprehended
through incense,
crescendo, and silver muting.
i utter lilac shrieks and scarlet
bellowings

what have you to say,
                         wind
                wind          wind—
                       whistles     far     and wee
wee skipping high-heeled flames
whee(:are,SpRiN,k,LiNg
           an      in-stant        with sunLight
then)!-
Fleeter be they than dappled dreams.

beloved,
a single star is
uttered,and
i
think
of
you

in the street of the sky
night walks scattering poems.

"Written" for the Prompt at PoeticalCondition group. Prompt is to write a Cento (A piece using writing from others, but rearranged to make a new poem). These are not my words. They are pulled from 50 Poems by E.E.Cummings. Too many poems to list so here's a link to the site I pulled them from: hellopoetry.com/e-e-cummings/
